Mozang Road is a designated impact zone for the Lahore Water & Wastewater Management Project (LWMMP), which involves trenchless sewer construction. As part of this, a formal Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP) has been prepared for businesses on Mozang Road. The plan acknowledges temporary disruptions and mandates compensation for affected shopkeepers for up to four months of net income loss, plus rental allowances where applicable, due to jacking and recipient pit construction.
